To solve this problem in the future, try this little trick.
At the next point/condenser change, before installing the capacitor
(condenser), take a pair of end-cutters and open one side of the mounting
hole in the condenser so as to make a slot. Then from that time forward, you
never have to completely remove the little screw and washer. Just loosen
enough to slide out the old condenser, and insert the new one, which you have
slotted as before. Works great, usless you have developed an affection for
the pea gravel in the drive and get a thrill when you caress it searching for
small parts.
