On late model there is a plastic ring with an edge behind the chrome ring
which the ring snaps onto. The Chrome ring also has a hook on the top
whichgoes over the alignment screw. To remove gently pry on the bottom of
the ring then lift up to clear the alignment screw. To replace, align the
hook over the alignment screw and push firmly till it snaps onto the plastic
ring.

After reading the posts on changing over to halogen lights I thought tis
a good idea BUT how do I get the chrome rings off??They rotate but don't
come off I don't want to start prying on them I'm sure its simple
