MGA and MGB water pumps from 1956-1964 engines, 1500 thru 1800 3-main 18GA, have an impeller diameter of 2-3/8". MGB 5-main engines from 1972 on (18V engines) have a water pump impeller diameter of 2-7/8", and won't bolt up to a 3-main block. This should be easy. Somebody tell me the water pump impeller diameter or engine block front cavity diameter for any 1965-1971 engine, models BG through GK. Barney Gaylord 1958 MGA |
