Does anyone have an NOS Lucas radiator cooling fan motor for a late
MGB? I managed to find one at a swap meet, but need a matching
new one for my GT V-8 restoration. Being the anal sort that I am, I'm
looking for an exact match.
The motor has a bright yellow cad plating on the housing and rear
end, whereas the shaft end is made out of gray pot metal and is flat
(no bearing bulge like some of the repro motors). The pigtail wires
are pea green, and terminate in the proper white plastic connector.
The Lucas part number is 60927038, and shows a production date
of 1/93 (so it should still be available from somebody).
Anyone want to part with one, or know of a supplier? Thanks in
advance.
