Fellow listers - July 4, 5 &6 the Okanagan British Car Club is
hosting the fourth annual Rally In The Valley. This years'
event is being held in Penticton, British Columbia, which is
a beautiful little city on the shore of Lake Okanagan and
Skaha Lake in the heart of Okanagan wine country. This is a
real people oriented event which usually draws about 150 British
cars. Some of the events included are a Friday nite BBQ and
British parts auction, Saturday show, tour of Highland Games
going on in Penticton the same day, winery tours and tastings,
and a gourmet banquet and awards presentation. Sunday's events
include a slalom, gymkhana, a ride on the Kettle Valley steam
train, and farewell winery tours. The host motel is right on
the lake and there will be late night sing alongs at the beach
fire-pit. Rooms are available at $49 Canadian per night. For

This is a great people event with the emphasis on having a good
time. Judging is by entrants with trophies for first, second,
and third in each class - a do not miss event for British car
owners in the Pacific northwest.
