Don't know about replacing then C heater valve with a B. Have you tried
Kirk's Auto Refitters (1800-547-5747) or Dave Clark at Sports Car Services
(802-387-4540). Both are pretty resourceful and can help you find new or
used. Also, maybe if you drop an e-mail to the new AMGCR web page at
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/amgcr they may have some suggestions
on locating the parts or the conversion.

Has anyone out there replaced a MGC heater control valve with a MGB's? The C
control valve is unavailable and most of the other parts needed to complete
the job are costly.
