I've been lurking here for over a year and now I must break my silence in
order to aid my beloved MG.
The DPO of my MGA fitted the car with a transmission from an early MGB. I
have obtained a 'D' type overdrive unit which I would like to fit to this
transmission and then put the resulting piece into my MGA.
My questions are:
I understand that I will need a different main shaft to do this. Where might
I look for this piece?
Last month there was a posting of a web site for someone who sells parts for
the overdrive into an MGA conversion, including a mount and a fibreglass
transmission tunnel. Could someone send me the URL for that site?
Any assistance would be appreciated.
