The Hynes Ownership Workshop Manual mentions removing the facia to get to
the

windshield bolts. Is this necessary? They seem to be exposed already.



Rick,

The job can be done without removing the facia, but you will have to lossen
it to gain access to the bolts. Another bit, I found the use of some c clamps
very handy, they fit on the upper part of the door sill and pull the
windshield down so that the bolts match up. This is the most difficult part
and without the clamps it would have taken three men and a boy to press the
windsheild on to the car.
