Last year I wrote in with a comment on what I saw as a Lucas comeback. My local 
auto dealer is an official Lucas dealer and he sells all kinds of Lucas 
hydraulic and electrical components for English and Japanese cars.


 Lucas has gained a good international market as I saw their parts selling in 
South America.


And my experience with their new stuff has been good. My Toyota Landcruiser 
uses Lucas alternator, regulator, and starter.


I still find it mind boggling. This is the Lucas I grew up with (the prince of 
darkness!)?
