Hope everyone is finished flaming the Southerners who ask questions about
MG's. There are a few people in the world, including the South, who admire
our cars and are trying in as gracious a way as they know how to tell us so.
I was brought up to accept a compliment, say Thanks, and shut the hell up.
BTW, at the Brit Car Show at Berkley Plantation near Hopewell, VA last year
(about 600 cars), some Yahoo driving a Lincoln with Jersey plates stopped by
on the way from Williamsburg and asked what was going on. After explaining
the event to him, he says, "What the hell would somebody want one of those
damned "furren" cars for? Ya can't even get your golf clubs in the trunk."
No denying it - most of your car experts come from the North.
