G'day Aron,
My GT-V8's Rubber Bumpers were painted in two pack semi gloss by the shop
that did the body. From memory they rubbed back the original surface a
little before applying a thin coast of body filler. Then by a few coats of
black plus a few coats of clear. This was done in 1991 and the bumpers (and
the rest of the car) still look great.
