Go with the Petronix Ignitor, better, cheaper and does not even show.
Had a crane on my F**T Spider and worked ok for a while and eventually
burned the main module. They replaced it free but what a pain shipping
it back, waiting etc. I believe moss sells it for just under $100. There
are Moss distributors on this list that can get it a little cheaper.
Maybe they can post their best price for all of us to see, I may be
game.

Subject: Crane Electronic Ignition

Last night, I was looking at the new V.B. "wish book" and felt a pull to
the phone with my AMEX card in hand to order the Crane electronic
ignition conversion for my 80 MGB.

I said my MGaholics pledge 3 times and the pressure was curbed long
enough for me to think and fix a strong drink.

The 80 B has a Weber 32/36, a mild street cam, headers and all emission
equipment removed, plus no vacuum advance.

I remember a discussion on the list a while back... Do I keep taking the
pledge or place the order? I have no problems other then "Weber bog
down", but would like a little more power and less future problems.
