compelled to share today's quote with you.
Featured today was the lamp from a 1907 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost. The text
below the photograph states:
"Electricity was pretty elusive technology near the turn of the century, so
most cars featured some alternative light source, usually oil or acetylene.
Of course, given the reputation or Lucas electrics, you could argue that
electricity has remained pretty elusive to the English for most of this
century."
