Are you missing fluid from your clutch master? Quick test, brake fluid
washes off with water oil does not. On my 80 B the slave is completely
external. I don't know about the 69 first hand but I would guess that it is
external and in fact you are seeing oil leaking out the drain hole in the
tranny bell caused by a failing rear engine seal. If your losing hydolic
fluid its your clutch.

My 69 MGB is leaking break fluid from the bottom of the clutch. I am 90%
positive that it is not engine oil. I think the clutch slave cylinder is
leaking into the clutch?? Is that possible??? It only leaks when I drive
it. After driving it all day I can park it, let cool down and leak. When
I come back an hour or so later and move it into the garage it will only
leak a drop or so over night. I would like to seal this leak before it
trashes my clutch.
Thanks
