Thanks for the followup.
My steel flywheel, with ring gear installed, weighs 22 pounds. The front side of
the flywheel is deeply dished. Starting from a 3/4" lip where the ring is
installed, the flywheel is dished up to a point near the mounting holes in the
center. If memory serves me, the thickness under the clutch plates is about
3/8's of an inch.
