Well, Simon even if Lorna wasn't too enthused the rest of us were mighty =
impressed. When I saw the GT in the lot, I told Darcie that it must be =
yours, and that I knew you from the list; she just thinks you're nuts.=20

For driving an MG in today's weather you should either get a medal or an =
appointment with a psychiatrist.

Several club members wives attempted to forbid me from telling their =
husbands about the list but oops! I guess it just slipped out!=20

Hello all,
another update on the 'Winter B GT' saga. Today we had fairly horrible
weather. About 6 inches of snow on the ground and about 7 deg F. I am
happy to say that the GT performed very well. No problem at all going
through the snow drifts, and it was quite well behaved on the
packed-down slippery bits. The ATF in the carbs plus setting it rich
enough to make a significant contribution to Global Warming seems to
help with the first few miles of driving each day. I did have to buy a
small ice scraper to keep ice from building up too much on the inside of
the windows though.
On saturday night I was the only one silly enough to drive their MG to
the club dinner event, (it was 0 deg F). Lorna was not too enthused
with the idea. She was convinced we were going to be stranded by the
roadside and freeze to death, (we didn't in case anyone was wondering).

Cheers,
Simon
