Since I made the first comment (remember, you get the 100 points...) I
didn't
want to answer the question.  I'm pretty sure it was class at Le Mans in
'65.

There were a few droop snoot MGBs built.  (Anyone know how many?) 
Supposedly
the one that won class @ Le Mans was shunted out in either the Monte or
Alpine
rally.  There are some great pix of the droop snoot cars in the History
of the MGB
or whatever it is and in Sprinzel's "The Spritely Years".  Well, only
one pic
in Sprinzel's book, but he was that 'B when it was shunted.

I don't know if any droop snoot MGBs survive.  I've posed that question
more than once, but either no one knows, no one cares, or it's not
a real MGB since it had modified bodywork.  (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

I've always wanted to build a replica of one of the LM cars.  Very
nice looking 'Bs.
