Rover V8

I am a newbie and missed the threads on the Rover V8 in a MGB.  But I do have
a recent issue of MG World that covered the topic.  But just how expensive and
hard to find is this motor?  I would think it would be kinda high and rare.

BTW I am pretty sure that rotary engines are lighter than a Rover V8.
