        Colorado, springtime, weekday, start at the top of Independence 
pass, head east.  Don't turn the engine on until you hit the bottom of 
the mountain.  Listen to the sound of running water, watch the wildlife. 
 Listen to the tires hiss as you round the curves.  When you get to the 
bottom, turn around and blast back up the hill.  Repeat as necessary.
