Why? There is no point doing this that I can see, and several reasons why it
is a bad idea. If you use the OD with hard acceleration in 2nd gear, there is
enough torque to slip the linings and burn them. If you _don't_ want to use it
in 2nd, then why defeat the switch?

The guy you sold it to won't thank you when his friend, girl friend, or
whatever gets in the car when the OD switch has inadvertantly been left on,
and backs the car up!
