Hmmm. Working from memory, as I had a sudden need to do this
work on a dark moonless night on a country road...
The harness from each light contains wires for +V and ground.
These come through the inner fender to just behind the radiator
(on a '72, ymmv) and the connection to ground is in the engine
compartment. Come to think of it, mine may still be a sewing needle
pierced through the wire and then an alligator clip lead to a
suitable bolt...
