Sitting here perusing the day's posting on the list, when my son came in
from work with a tale he thought I might be interested in.
Seems he didn't have anything to do this afternoon (I need a job like
this!) and for lack of something better, went to one of the local auto
auctions.
He saw a 1976 MGB, recently repainted in LE livery, about 85K on the odo
(whether 85 or 185 he didn't know), no rust, original interior in very
good shape, cranked and ran very well, no smoke or strange noises; In
short, a good car.
He stuck around to see what it would bring
A used car dealer picked the car up for the princely sum of $250.
I am now nursing the bruises on my forhead where I banged it against the
wall. Repeatedly
