Two springs ago, I found a 'possum in my '70 MGB, which was then, as now, my
daily driver. Someone spotted the critter in my urban neighborhood and called
animal control. The poor thing decided that the top of the 'B's driveshaft
would be a good hiding place, which it was, until I drove to the grocery.
The same animal control guy who chased it into my car in the morning came to
remove the pieces in the grocery parking lot in the afternoon, which is how I
know the beginning of the story.
