Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone might be able to shed some light on a transmission
problem I'm having with my 76 B. It's the original non o/d box that came
with the car. Problem is I get a real healthy grind when downshifting from
third to second. All other gears seem fine both upshifting as well as
downshifting and I have no problem getting the car into 1st or reverse from
a standstill. It would appear that the clutch is disengaging correctly. Has
anyone else had this occur? I'm prepared to pull the thing out to
investigate further but thought it might be wise to ask first in the off
chance that this might be something minimal...
