Someone recently posted a link to a site that had info on Importation regs
and laws.
My father-in-law is getting more frenzied about SHIPPING his '84 Jag 4.2
(XJ-6) from Germany as a "gift"....
Now that I have an MG, and sent him pictures....sigh....
As well intentioned as it may seem, I'm now forced to argue against it with
financial logic, so I need the figures.
He lives near Ludwigshafen, Germany, so any listers in Germany could help me
with info about enthusiasts in his area that will give his Jag a good home.
If you've ever been to dinner at your in-laws, where the parents want to
give you something (like food, but this is a CAR fercrissakes) and you KNOW
its just not right, you might understand my situation.
I'd love for the old guy to store it until I can swing a transfer to Europe,
but...He actually told my wife to be ready for a big crate to show up at our
doorstep on Christmas!!!! Crazy Germans! (I love 'em, by the way)
