Jeff,
Chuck those old wheel cylinders in the trash and get a couple of new ones
from Moss, V.B. or SICP. They oly cost 15 or 20 bucks each. The life you
save may be someone else's. 

Really - if the piston is THAT rusted in then the bore is shot.
