Speedo cable

Take the speedo cable off at the speedo end and roll the car forward while
holding it (easier to pop speedo out of dash to do this. If it turns, it's the
speedo, if not, the angle drive or something downstream. Ne wangle drives can
give problems, and cables kinked can also cause failure. Good luck.

<<OK, here's the scene. New OD installed, required new OD speedo cable.
Attached to tranny *while out* (valuable advice gleaned here), attached to
angle drive at back of speedo. (helluva job) Worked just fine - for a coupla
hundred miles, then suddenly - nadda.
Your diagnosis? Speedo angle drive? Attachment to tranny? Bad cable? Bad
installation?
Appreciate your thoughts & remedys.>>
