Barney Gaylord has opened a can worms with the rumour of the existence of 3
MGA 1500 Deluxes. IMHO the rumour is bunk.

The 1500 was well out of production by the time the Twinkie production died.
Extra Twinkie bits were put to good use in the 1600 Deluxe and the 1600 Mk2
Deluxe. Now that being said, people have MADE bogus '1500 Deluxes' out of
Twinkie parts just like people have MADE bogus '1600 Deluxes' and '1600 Mk2
Deluxes'. A number of years ago, I ran a 1500 engine in a rotted-out,
mechanically-challenged Twinkie for a while - but it wasn't a '1500 Deluxe'.
I used the 1500 only because that is what I had available at the time.

57 A coupe
59 Twin-Cam (no, not the same rotted-out one as above)
