If you have ever been to a TV studio and seen the chipped, scratched and dented 
set 
that looks so good on screen you will never trust so-called 'invisible repair' 
TV 
ads again.

Many years ago I used something called 'Vinyl Weld', I think.  It was excellent 
- 
fusing the edges together and leaving things soft for a while so I could 
scratch in 
the grain.
