** High Priority **

Ross/Gary: At one time I had located a cache of 29 NOS ingition switches and
harness modules in England. I quickly ordered two, one for my dead unit in the
'76 and a spare for the '79. As I recall, they were about $140 or so. If
interested, I can check my source to see if any are still available. NOS has
gotta' be better than some of the Asian look-a-likes that MOSS comes up with.
MOSS does a great job and they have done our Hobby/Sport/Love of MG's a great
service but they have also allowed themselves to slide into a compromise of
quality for $$$ in some cases. The initial problem is that the original tooling
was destroyed in a factory fire in England, therefore the shortage! There is
also a guy who advertises in Hemmings (he's out of Texas, I believe), who will
refurbish your original switch and harness unit too. Hope this helps......

Gary I don't believe they are available anymore (OEM) I need one too, and
failed to realize they were soon to be history a couple of years
ago...Anyway MOSS sells a replacement, but as far as I know you havre to
puircahse the lock etc, I may be wrong.

The saga continues--

It seems part of my "no spark" problem is a bad ignition switch.

Does anyone have a good ignition switch for a '74 MGB?
