It wasn't quite a mile, just over the small, steep hill, out of sight --. :)
I was amazed at the cheapskates not willing to register that parked
alongside my DarthVader truck (properly out of range, it wouldn't do to have
a vehicle like THAT ruin the atmosphere). We had enough nice MGs in the
parking lot to have our own show over there! Although the MD club charged me
$4 to just show up! (I suppose that's +$2 from the standard Park Service
charge)
Funniest part of the day was when the Ft. Frederick cannon fired -- the
whole crowd turned and said "must be that Tr**mph we saw drive in here"
