I just got the July-August issue of the AMGBA Octagon and there's an article about replacing the Lucas alternator with a Delco. Sounds pretty straightforward, and relatively inexpensive. Making sure the voltage regulator is set properly was mentioned as being a good way to prevent explosions. --Steve |
