The Workshop Manual has a diagram, I will try and describe it.
If you lay a straight-edge across the float chamber face, at right-angles to
the
float pivot pin, there should be a clearance of .04 +- .02 in between the
bottom
of the straight edge and the float. It says to adjust the height by bending
the
brass pad.
