Subject: Timing Light On Positive Ground Car
Since Dave asked about the dwell/tach, I'd thought I'd ask about using a
timing light on a positive ground car. Does the 'positive' clip just go to
ground?

Just hook up the timing light like you would on any car, positive clamp
goes to the positive side of the battery, negative to the negative side
of the battery. If you want to hook the "positive" cable to chassis
ground, go right ahead, it is directly connected to the positive side of
the battery.
