<<I recently acquired a very rusty Canadian LE
that one of the previous owners has removed the plaque from. How
does a person determine what number this car should be? The serial
number is GHN5UL492754 . Maybe those on the list with Canadian LE's
could email me with their serial number and LE number to help me
narrow the search down. At this stage, from previous cars owned,
all I can tell is that it is later than #51. >>

Sounds like a good subject for landfill, myself, Len, but then to each his own
(I assume you don't intend to keep the car?).
I don't think there is any rule, ie they didn't put the tags on in numerical
order, and the chance of you meeting up with the same number car is pretty
small. If you call Octagon in Vancouver, they think that they may have wrecked
one and kept the glove box with tag - that way at least you would know you
weren't duplicating another one.

What other more sensible projects are you working on these days? ;-)
