This winter I plan to re-build a set of SU carbs for my '74B. The purpose
of this re-build will be for performance. (I will leave my present HIF-4's
stock in case of a future government emissions crisis) I am in the process
of purchasing a re-buildable pair of used carbs. I would like to hear a
discussion from the list on which of these carbs, HS4 or HIF-4 , (I do not
want Webers or 1 3/4" SU's) is the best stock performer and which one lends
itself to performance modification.
