Mike,
        the Auto gearbox fitted to the 'B' & 'C' cars is the Borg Warner
type 35 three speed, these are trouble free in operation, 'in my experience
of them' [ I put an Auto box from a wrecked MGB, into the MGB-LE and it is a
pleasure to drive, although not a desirable option for the racing
fraternity ] I'd go for the car!
