The Southwestern Ontario Hoser Eh's! (a Chapter of the North American MGA
Register) is hosting a Regional GT on July 21st, 22nd and 23rd, 1999 in
Grand Bend, Ontario. All MG enthusiasts are invited to attend this 3 day,
mid-week event, just 1 hour north of London, Ontario, on the south shore of
Lake Huron.
The host hotel is the opulent Oakwood Inn, Grand Bend's biggest and most
luxurious resort Inn.
It is a very modern facility with the main Inn constructed of British
Columbian cedar. The amenities include world class dining, a challenging
18 hole golf course, tennis, indoor pool Jacuzzi, billiard room and a
private beach.
Grand Bend itself, boasts one of the most beautiful beaches on Lake Huron,
with something to do for everyone... from shopping to water bike rentals;
hiking trails to an IHRA 1/4 mile dragstrip ..... all located within
minutes of "The Bend."
The Hoser Eh's! are planning a fun filled couple of days which include a
traditional welcoming barbeque on Wednesday evening, a car show, additional
activities and a banquet on Thursday night. There will be lots to see and
do, or you can be as relaxed as you wish, in the luxury offered by the
Oakwood.

The entire "Longhouse" (15 room unit adjacent to the main lodge), along
with 15 rooms in the main Inn, have been booked for our Regional GT. Room
rates are confirmed at $92.00 and $112.00 per night (Canadian) in the
Longhouse and $142.00 per night (Canadian) in the Inn. Once these rooms
are gone, we will negotiate with the Inn for additional rooms and/or secure
accommodation with nearby motels. For those interested, camping is also
available within a 10
minute drive.
The room rates are only guaranteed until April 15th, and will require a
$100.00 (Canadian) deposit. This is fully refundable provided you contact
the Oakwood at least 72 hours in advance of the event. Book your room ASAP
