The MGC was only produced in the late 60's wasn't it? This is a 79. I can't
imagine someone squeezing a 6 in a Midget!

Perhaps you mean the MGC available as a GT(hardtop) or
Roadster(Convertible) which came with a straight six? I have not seen a
60s-70s Midget with a 6 cylinder before.
