Hi Richard,

I had the same with one wheel very badly when i purchased my 71 BGT.
The splines were not the cause and the wobble went with the wheel when it
was placed onto another hub.

The cause was lots of play in the spokes.
I thought it was easy to adjust, but as it is with bikes, it is more a
specialist job.
So i had sent the wheel to recommended specialist who does not do anything
else than fixing wires wheels.
This guy told me that most spoke adjusters are rusted to the soke, so they
have to be sawn off.
He replaced about 20 spokes and readusted the wheel.
It fine now.

Cheers,

Hans
