I was looking at spot welders in an Eastwood caalog the other day and the
same question came into my mind. (www.eastwood.com) They seem to have a
lot of goodies for the home restorer.

Anyway, they have spot weld gun for use with an arc welder($39.99), not
sure if it has to be with one of their units and a tong type spot welder,
110V AC, 20 amp unit ($399.00).

As far as a spot welders practical usefulness, I would like to know that too.

I only have the catalog, I have no interest in the company and my cousin
Vinny dosn't work there.
