Cracked Cyl Head

Hi all,

Well, I've just found out I have a tiny hairline crack from the flat on the
rocker cover down about 1 1/2" to the vicinity of #2 cyl. It's clearly
visible now the head is stripped. A friend was going to modify the head for
racing. Cyl heads are v.expensive here in Aus. and not easy to come by. Is
there anything that can be done or should I just shove it in the bin and
save for another one? It's an 18GJ 1970 head.
