Just wanted you to know that there is a virus out there. This is real! I
work in the computer industry and I check these things out before I say
anything.
The Washington "Post" reports that "a computer virus that can erase the
information on a computer's hard drive and make it impossible to start
programs will attack infected computers on Monday, April 26. Called the
"Chernobyl"
virus, it is programmed to turn itself on April 26 - the anniversary of the
Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
The computer Emergency Response team at Carnegie Mellon U. has published an
alert about the virus and how to eradicate it. This can be found at:
