Awhile back, a flurry of MG sightings in different movies
spread like molasses across our list.

Let me add another: Susan Sarandon looked shic in "The
Client" in a (surprise!) well-kept, yellow RB MGB as she
drove her young client to safety last night - as seen on
commercial television.

By the way, the South Jersey British Car Club had a 'social'
outside the Evergreen Ice Cream Bar in Medford, NJ last
Saturday. About 45-50 LBC's and some not so little: a combination
of MG's ranging from one TD to RB B's, (the solitary A was a hit
with me...I never knew they were so elegant), a number of Triumphs that
visited from Pennsylvania, Jags, and a few odds and ends. Not to start a
war, but my experience has all been with a single RB MGB, but if a TR-3
came along at the right price and I had the money...
Weather was great. People driving by slowed to oogle, and I learned how to
mount the
'new' old luggage rack I had purchased from another list member the previous
week. Spent Sunday mounting it so now I can take the SO on a weekend trip to
the Poconos (a local 'mountain' range) and have a change of underwear.

Did you know that Tom of the Magliozzi Brothers (Tom and Ray, the Car Guys on
Public Radio), is restoring and driving a Red MG TD? (I saw it on their WEB
site...somewhere).

Adios for now,

Bill,
