To all Vancouver Vagabonds:
Honk if you pass through my neck of the woods!
Remember though that here in Washington we don't tan...
we rust!

Yo chaps!

Our trek from central Illinois to Vancouver, B.C., Canada has begun. Tom and
Debbie Biehle (newlyweds as of Saturday) arrived Thursday evening from the
Philly, PA region in the MGB. We departed St.Joseph, IL at 0530am on
Friday...the first casualty happening within 2 miles of home when the CB
antennae decided to separate from the MGC and become a bouncing trailer on
I-74. ( I caught it on about the third bounce...but alas...it broke...good!)
A quick return home to get the backup antennae and we were off to Peoria to
meet Dane Lay and Ellen Wesley with their MGC. Travel conditions left a
little to be desired...pea soup. An uneventful trip through western
Illinois,
eastern Iowa, southern Minnesota, and into South Dakota for our first
overnight at Mitchell (home of the Corn Palace). Today's mileage just under
700 trouble free miles for all three MGs. (And only a little rain!)

Tomorrow its off to Mt.Rushmore for some touristy things then into
Montana.....until then....Safety/Faster!
