Hello and where to start

I have just purchased my first lbc, a burgandy 1977 MG convertable.  The
body is in excellent shape, there is no visible rust, and the mechanicals
seem fine (but it has not run for about a year).  The real problem is the
wiring harness, which is sitting in the passenger seat.  Can anyone
reccomend some good resources on where to start (wiring diagrams, advice,
repair manuals &c.).
