Way to go! At least my "project" was already running. You're much braver
than I. I'm definitely not without "things" that need to be done, however!

OK List,
After all of your help, at precisely 4:06EST my Harvest Gold 75MGB was
turned and given her first breath of gas filled air in five years. We took
custody of her in February of this year, when we took her in she had to be
towed to the house. She hadn't run since early 1994 We have been working, as
time and finances allowed ever since. She blew some white smoke for about
the first five minutes, but now she runs remarkably well. In the days and
weeks ahead I will begin the rest of her work. I know she needs tach work,
speedo work, radiator work...and who knows what else. She seems to have a
good clutch, she is on jack stands, but I put her through the gears, and she
seemed to change gears just fine. SHE LIVES SHE LIVES SHE LIVES!!!!!!!!!

A couple of questions, the vac advance isn't operable right now, it seems
that DPO has actually sealed it off, as well as the heater.
I want this car to run like as new as possible, is the vac advance a hard
system to work on? Is the tach more than likely an electrical problem??
Where do I start to trouble shoot for the tach??
I am learning everything as I go here! I rebuilt the carb (ZS) on my own,
and I have done most of the brake work on my own, getting some help from
friends and mechanics as I went.
I am currently waiting for a new rear brake adjuster from VB, Moss was a
no-go on that part. When I get that last adjuster back I can reassemble the
rear end, and put her on the road for a drive!!!! HOW EXCITING!!!!!!!
This is my first time working on any kind of a car, and my first time owning
an MG. I have feelings for this car that arent quite normal, so I know I
will fit in on this list just fine !!! <LOL>

For anyone who has come to my aid in the past, and for those who will help
in the future..thank you all!!!!!!!!!

Scott
75MGB....she lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
