Dear Lawrie,
Being employed by possibly the most PC institution in the world, the
university of California, jokes about the british are not racist, they are
ethnic, as Brits now come in all colors and racial origins.
However, ethnic jokes can also be offensive and non-PC. ;-)
I thought that this one joke was pretty funny. I will probably get in
trouble for this thought crime now.
