Sounds like your brake pressure switch is on it's way out. Test is by
substitution only, as far as I know. It's a simple matter, though. If you
have the new switch handy, just undo the 2 wires, unscrew the switch from
the hydraulic fitting, and quickly replace the switch. You should only loose
a few drops of fluid; wipe them up right away, before they attack the paint.
I've done this little job twice in the past, and didn't need to bleed
anything after.
