There is a bronze bushing in the pivot point of the clutch release arm.
when this bushing and/or the shoulder bolt it runs on is worn the release
arm can wobble sideways.  If it moves far enough in this direction the
release bearing can touch the transmission input shaft and rattle.
Otherwise with less looseness the release arm can still wobble a little
when running with no pressure on the clutch hydraulics, and this can cause
a rattle, usually in sync with the engine speed.  Just a little toe
pressure on the clutch pedal brings the release bearing into intimate
contact with the pressure plate thrust ring and the rattle stops.  If you
didn't replace both the bushing and the shoulder bolt, then you may be in
for pulling the engine again.  (Aw sh**).
